Broaden the powers of the Election Supervisory Body and increase its human and logistical capabilities.
Increase the number of the Elections Supervisory Body’s members to include more representatives of civil society and associations known for their election transparency advocacy, as well as university professors who are not affiliated with any political party through membership or practice, and UN-appointed international observers.
Members of the Supervisory Body to be appointed by the Beirut and Tripoli Bar Associations and the Lebanese Judges Association.
Decisions and circulars issued by the Supervisory Body to be binding on the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.
The Election Supervisory Body should strengthen its team by selecting volunteers or administrative personnel to be delegated at all stages of the electoral process, namely in primary and higher registration committees, in polling stations, and in signing all data.
