Youth Political Bootcamp

The National Bloc is organizing a 4-day intensive learning Youth Bootcamp to train Lebanese youth to modern politics.

Through three main tracks the training will address the ways to reach the Lebanon we want: Effectively Democratic, Sovereign and Neutral, and Social Liberal.

The Bootcamp will bring together youth, age 18-35, from diverse social backgrounds and regions to discuss their common goals for Lebanon. It's an open application policy; everyone is encouraged to submit.

The training will be composed of a mix of courses covering politics, public policy, and elections as well as role-play and workshops to participate in engaging activities. 

The National Bloc will cover all expenses of the training; participants will be hosted in local hotels in double rooms. Meals, accommodation, and transportation will be provided for the participants as part of the program.

Topics covered

The training will be highly interactive, animated by professional and keynote speakers. The following subjects will be addressed:

  • Public speaking and media training

  • Introduction to the political history of the Middle East

  • Functioning of liberal democracy and the social contract

  • Elections principles

  • Economics and budget training

  • Policy making

  • Vision for a New Lebanon

The window for applying to attend the program is open from July 22nd to August 5th. Shortlisted participants will be notified by email before August 13th.
