The National Bloc: The Priority is Lebanon’s Neutrality

The National Bloc is deeply concerned by the escalating violence in the region following the Israeli attack on Iran, and by the growing risk of a broader regional war.

Amid these threats, we call on the Lebanese state to fully assume its responsibilities: to protect all Lebanese, safeguard Lebanon’s neutrality, and prevent both parties to the conflict from turning our land once again into a battlefield.

This demands the full implementation of UN Resolution 1701, and a firm and urgent assertion of state sovereignty over all Lebanese territory.
