National Bloc participates in the farewell of Cardinal Sfeir in a national unified burial ceremony
The Lebanese National Bloc party participated in the national burial ceremony held for Lebanon’s great patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir on Thursday. The Bloc paid tribute to everyone who participated in the last farewell to a man that through his life embodied the values of humility, perseverance, and prioritizing humanity and dignity. During his days as Patriarch he established a Bkerkeh that was trans-sectarian in its approach.
In honor of the late Cardinal, who broke protocol and presided over the burial ceremony of the late Brigadier General Raymond Edde, The Lebanese National Bloc party attended his funeral with a delegation that included party President Carlos Edde and Secretary-General Pierre Issa along with members of the Executive Committee and the Party Council.
