The National Bloc: In Support of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam
The National Bloc issued the following statement:
A delegation from the Bloc’s Executive Committee visited Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam and discussed with him the latest political and security developments across Lebanon, particularly in the capital and the south, where the role of the state and its institutions remains essential in reassuring and protecting citizens. They also reviewed the possible paths to ending the ongoing war between Israel and Hezbollah.
The attendees expressed their solidarity with Prime Minister Salam in the face of the accusations of treason led by Hezbollah, and affirmed their full support for his national positions aimed at asserting state sovereignty over the entirety of Lebanese territory.
The delegation included Secretary-General Michel Helou, Executive Committee members Hussein El Achi, Camille Mourani, Lynn Harfouch, Party Council President Tarek Sakr, and Dr. Josephine Zgheib.
