National Bloc: Politicization of El-Hajj - Ghabash verdict shakes citizens’ faith in the judiciary
The Lebanese National Bloc party stressed that the politicization of the military court's ruling in the case of Lt. Col. Suzanne El-Hajj and hacker Elie Ghabash is detrimental to citizens’ confidence in the judiciary, the first and last refuge of the people.
In its statement, the Bloc explained that this is just another example of how parties/sects ignore the sanctity of the rule of law and the judiciary’s role in reassuring the people of their rights and safety.
