National Bloc on the assassination of Lokman Slim: We will continue resisting the internal occupation until its defeat

The assassination of Lokman Slim is a direct targeting of all those who struggle to establish a state of law and justice in Lebanon. On the six-month anniversary of the Beirut Port crime, this assassination reminds us of the real conflict in Lebanon: a conflict between the rule of criminals and the rule of justice, between the rule of militias and the rule of law and the judiciary.

After this assassination, it is imperative for us, the forces of change in this country, to close ranks in the face of a complicit and criminal ruling system.

The retrograde "dark forces" will not intimidate the Lebanese people. We will continue resisting the internal occupation until its defeat.
