The National Bloc released the following statement:
A delegation from the National Bloc visited the leader of the Lebanese Forces Party, Dr. Samir Geagea, at his office in Maarab. The meeting included discussions on several political issues, including the need to establish a clear timeline for extending the full sovereignty of the state over all Lebanese territory, the importance of building a transparent and productive economy, conducting a comprehensive forensic audit, and continuing the reform process by passing laws related to the financial gap.
Regarding the municipal elections, both sides — from their respective political and electoral positions — expressed confidence in the ability of the Lebanese people to choose representatives capable of managing local affairs and preserving diversity across towns and cities.
The discussion also addressed the broader question of state-building as a path toward creating a shared and prosperous future for all Lebanese, especially in the wake of the recent war.
