“National Bloc”: The Only Way To Restore Trust Is For President Aoun To Meet Citizens’ Demands
The “Lebanese National Bloc Party” hopes that President Michel Aoun will meet the citizens’ demands in his afternoon address because Lebanese citizens are the source of political legitimacy and power. The Party also wishes that the President will declare his willingness to dissolve this government and appoint a scaled-down government composed of independent experts with wide prerogatives.
In its statement, the Party stressed that such a government is the only one that can rebuild trust between citizens and the state and that can take the urgent measures needed to avoid the complete financial and economic collapse of Lebanon.
