“National Bloc”: Failure to Pay Army Food Contractors Is a Manipulation of Security
The “Lebanese National Bloc Party” warned that the manipulation of the military facilities regular operations in Lebanon will negatively affect the security. The Party pointed out that after the write-off of military’s armament in the 2019 budget; the scandal arose on ceasing to pay the food contractors for the Lebanese army. The Party asked the "Hawks of Sovereignty" is the intention to abolish the army and keep about 3,000 security men to protect personalities?
The Party stressed that the failure of the government combined, especially its “Hawks of Sovereignty”, to pay contractors since November 2008, almost a year ago, reflects a serious disregard and lack of responsibility towards the military.
